I am, how many 90-year-abortions, a Nintendo kid, and even among us there was always a SNES, the Playstation came eventually to and the Game Boy could (and should) never missing. I for one would call me but not really a hardcore player, but rather because I have quite a lot of games, but (usually) consume in a healthy way. As the music and movie addiction is a lot worse, but none the less I wanted since a long time even publish a list of my favorite games. Today I took my time to time. It is, of course, cross-system and a mess, just as I also am as a person. Some games I have played by the way, not even when I'm obviously a busy man, but I can judge so quite well. Voila.
Place 10 - God of War III (PS3)
So a typical hyped PS3 flagship games that everyone knows and from which everyone raves about, regardless of other intellectual right. But hey, absolutely deserves - because God of War III is a wonderfully bloody carnage with absolutely stunning graphics and a nice hard atmosphere that one almost wants to, even a demi-god to be in the ancient world and to tear down Medusa head (which in the reality probably a lot more boring and ugly was ... if one assumes that there "demigods" were). Anyway, a game the whole family, one learns it even slightly.
# 9 - Magical Starsign (Nintendo DS)
Yes, I know, I had never quite, but really fast. I am currently working alongside once again and think it has a place here yet earned, even only for the sake of the fact that it was published in contrast to his predecessor "Magical Vacation", and outside of Japan. "Magical Starsign" one of the funniest and most bizarre games ever, the creativity is incredible and the humor wonderfully unconventional and Japanese. I love it, even if the battle system yet very simple, and the controller also not really comfortable. So be it.
# 8 - Killer 7 (GCN & PS2)
I love wacky games with aestheticized violence. Killer7 was in the year 2005, a considerable scandal tracks (after all, it even appeared in full in Germany), a not surprising when you know that people are talking, among other things with a severed head in a washing machine and cut their wrists can do to opponents with blood spray. Suda51 This man is a genius, but also a Killer7 sauschwer game if, like me, quite awkward with first-person shooters and is suffering from a rather poor PS2 conversion has (the GameCube version I could get anywhere that is more that definitely needs to be made up). In any event, a hellish, macabre fun.
Place 7 - Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen (GBA)
Pokémon had naturally pure, because the games have not only shaped my life, but also the various other 90's kids. The only question was which one. I decided as a fan of the third generation me then for the above title. The original games of course, I know by heart, but FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes perfect, some for many many hours in Kanto imprison. The graphics are compared to the two other games with its rather half-baked pseudo-3D look wonderful, the atmosphere of retro pregnant, I can hardly contain my enthusiasm really limited and I recommend these modules - one is sufficient, of course, even if I as a collector both have - really any GBA or Nintendo DS owners.
# 6 - The Saboteur (PS3/360/PC)
I really do not know why the title was taken by many only as mediocre. It is Paris. It is the time of the Second World War. And I played an Irish Frauenaufreißer, chasing a blond Nazi doctor. Any questions? The game is damn good and incredibly atmospheric. Paris is beautiful, and especially the black and white look, if a district has not yet been cleared of Nazis, is staggering. From the gameplay is actually a typical GTA-clone, but in my opinion much better after just a few. I could do with the GTA-setting that is never much. Synchronization is also wonderfully trashy, because if the Nazis in the death throes any records give of himself, was often used deep in the Wolfenstein box. "Sterbööö table!" And be obtained in any case, the censored version that circulates not only in Germany but also in Switzerland and Austria (which is not normally the case). I have the UK version.
# 5 - Donkey Kong 64 (N64)
This game has shaped my childhood, but unfortunately, together with "Country" 1-3. DK64 is a comparatively but very bleak experience, atmospheric conditions for N64 (almost) undefeated and playing at that time quite a joy. Today I am doing myself a bit harder than back then, but also sucks, because who has ever invented this terrible N64 controller? Whatever the case, DK64 is one of the best Rare Ware games and definitely one of the reasons why everyone was so sad when the company was acquired by Microsoft. And definitely not just for kids - Initially, the monkeys even have real weapons, that was the British, but probably a bit too hard!
# 4 - Final Fantasy VI (SNES/PS1/GBA) and Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
This place is shared by two games because otherwise probably too much Final Fantasy would have been in this list. Actually, I might even like VII and VIII list here, but VI and XII, I just find something better. VI tells a wonderful story in the very finest 2D optics with a perfect score by Nobuo Uematsu, the figures are just timeless - particularly antagonist Kefka managed damn well! XII, however, which I currently am the way, Play am is a fucking monster. I was never really a fan of the previous FFX is terrific (yes, I've even through) and certainly not from X-2 (no, I have never played more than 5 hours), but the setting of XII, the story incredibly compelling (despite various stereotypes) and the reaction is simply perfect for PS2 standards - even for the first time in Europe (the PAL adjustments had been terrible)! Un
the battle system is also one of the best in the series. XII, you should still (!) Get cheap in the used-games business if you have not have had the honor. FFVI on GBA you get way more difficult for 70 € - but even that would be worth more than.
3rd - MadWorld (Wii)
I love this crazy game. And what can you tell great too - you go in an organized fight to the death (mostly death) as "Jack", mounted on his right hand is a chainsaw (probably because someone has seen too much Evil Dead 2?) On everything going on, which is not at three in the trees. MadWorld makes it incredibly fun, is wonderfully sadistic super horny and has a soundtrack consisting of aggressive U.S. hip-hop with punk elements that just works well. The characters are so wacky that even "Killer7", however, looks old, and that means something. In Germany it is to Because of the great censorship board was never published at all. To import or sale in Switzerland or elsewhere should be advised to urgently. Very urgent.
No. 2 - Paper Mario 1-3 (N64, GCN, Wii)
How can I explain my love for these games only? Having grown up with Super Mario I am anyway, but against the creativity and diversity that is stuck in these songs does the entire rest of the series of old. Especially Part 3 dares for a Nintendo game very much and drives even humor-hardened man with laughter tears to the eyes is through play absolutely perfect, spotless and beautifully simple. Against the Paper Mario World is all just depressing, if one has once experienced.
1st Place - Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
Quite simply the most beautiful, most perfect and most atmospheric game of all time with the love most interesting characters and the world's most versatile of the entire series. Graphics perfect, perfect sound, perfect gameplay. Shit, this game is so great that it's not likely to be true. It is so cool that there is a scene where the hero holds the princess in the ass. Since it was just happen to me. I want a successor, otherwise I can not die happy.
